We’re browsing 5th wheels looki by for something that rivals our Newmar in terms of features and capabilities with a high level of fit and finish. Needs less to say, it’s slim pickings, especially when we are looking for a floorplan to give the kids their own space.

Seems all of the high end fit and finish manufacturers and model lines (Van Leigh, Redwood, Durango Gold, Luxe) hate bunks.

At the moment, we’re looking at the Vanleigh Pinecrest 392MB, Grand Design Solitude 3740BH, Grand Design Solitude 3950BH or the Jayco Northpoint 373BHOK. All of these floor plans have a separate space for the kids which is nice and seem to have a good fit and finish. If Vanleigh had a similar model on their Beacon line or Redwood had a 2-bedroom model, we would probably already be sold on one of those two.

Any other recommendations from anyone? We are ordering an F-350 Diesel with DRW so there’s not much we wouldn’t be able to comfortably pull. 35,000# tow rating, so up to 28,000#s to stay under 80%.

Short of going with a garage not sure there is much on the market with bunks.

We looked at a few toy haulers but they just aren’t our thing. We’re headed to LazyDays in Tampa tomorrow to go look at some of their Vanleigh 5ers, which is the leading candidate for us.

We are there now but unfortunately leaving in the morning. Would of liked to put a face to @MapNerd. Good luck

@MapNerd a friend just bought a northwood manufacturing artic Fox and he really likes it. He said it’s one of the few that’s a four season fiver and he thinks it’s a quality build. Just passing along information. Good luck in your search.
