We are considering the purchase of an AC American Eagle 42F. There is a leak (in the roof?) which has caused the headliner to come loose over at the edge of the ceiling near the slide. It's between the storage closet and the refrigerator, but not coming from the slide. Apparently somewhere up above.
The roof is a little soft between the AC unit up top and the Awning rails in that area, but no signs of cracking or damage at the roof.
There has been quite a bit of rain lately and there is no sign of fresh water coming in.
I believe the AC condensate drains run through the roof but would like to confirm that. Could that be the issue? Do they clog like home HVAC system do and require clean-out on a regular basis?
Anyone have any thoughts on this issue or a way to figure out where the water is getting in?
Also if the headliner needs to be removed for this repair, anyone know of a place that specializes in this type of work?
Thank you in advance
