Question leveling jacks for 1988 Newell coach

Dear Newell owners,
I am new in this club.. Would you please inform me if someone has installed leveling jacks under there classic Newell coach as my 1988 40' tag axle?

Hello.

Older Newells are leveled by the HWH Leveling System using the Newell’s airbags. The newer system is VALID and I’ve not heard of anyone changing that to a mechanical jack, nor can I think of any viable reason for doing so.

Because this is an obscure topic for a much older Newell, it would be much better to ask this of the group on the newellgurus.com forum. There is a wealth and great number of old timer wrench-heads with classic Newell’s and I’m sure you’ll get a good chat going there.
