Every time I go there, I do this... 11 miles of beach. Every year Unknown Lincoln City residence hide a couple thousand Authentic certified Blown glass balls from all over the world from great glass blowers above the waterline. You don't know who they are and what time they put them out. You go along the sand looking in any nooks and crannies for them. They are hidden pretty well but people do find them. I see people walking back to the Visiting Center with them and I ask them how they found theirs, fun stories. When you do, you take it to the visiting center there in Lincoln City, they take a photo if you allow them to and they look it up and give you the information a paper of authenticity, IE who made it, where it came from, when it was put out there, etc. Good for exercise, lol. Beautiful there too. Call the Lincoln City Visiting Center to make sure they are still giving out the paperwork for your ball, they do hide them during a certain part of the year so ask center when that is. Not all balls are found so you may have a good chance if you do find one it could be from several years ago. If not that is still alright because if you do find one, you are lucky.
