I recently bought a 2018 Lincoln MKX to tow behind my motor home and am having trouble understanding the process of putting the vehicle in tow mode. Can anyone help me with the sequence? The owners manual does not go into detail and Lincoln’s customer service is not much help so far.

Sorry this is an old thread I'm responding to but I figure a response now is better than no response ever...

I have a 2017 and the process is fairly easy. Just push the N (for neutral button) twice. The display changes to something like 'neutral mode engaged'. Do not push any other transmission buttons after this. Just shut the engine off and you should be good to go. We always check that a small move of the coach makes all the wheels rotate though. (As well as checking all the lights and such respond to coach controls.)
