Has anyone performed a 5th wheel auto level while still hitched to tow truck? Thinking quick overnight boondocking using slides would speed up getting back on road the next morning. PS….MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

I have manually leveled, I would not auto level because it drops the front of the 5er first.

Although not a 5th wheel, I always get our trailer in position, chock the wheels, disconnect the hitch but leave the tow vehicle in position. Then level the trailer, left to right and front to back. That way it is easy to drop on the ball and ready to move. However, in some cases, I've found it necessary to drop the front of the trailer to get it level, at which time I do have to move the tow vehicle forward a few inches.
