Good Morning Everyone!
We are looking to retire from running my own business for the last decade and are currently looking into purchasing a 5th wheel to do some travelling in. We found one which we really like, and my wife likes the kitchen in it too! That seems to be hard to find in an RV....a decent size kitchen.
If we pull the trigger, it is a 2011 Heartland Bighorn 3670RL.
Happy to be here and I'll be posting, and asking some questions about a few upgrades we want to do to it.
We are from Southern Utah and hope to be RVing this coming winter. :)

Hopefully you have fully inspected the chassis for cracks and wheel bearings/axles for serviceability. These, along with roof leaks, are the show stoppers with fifth wheels in my experience.
Good friends of ours have had 5th wheels and over many years of ownership found these to be the areas that required the most expensive repairs.
Other than that, good luck and happy travels.

Very good points! Thank you.

Congrats on the upcoming retirement - it has been great!! 😊

Personally we hired a certified inspector to go through the coach before we signed anything.

Well worth the expense just in case.

Can find them through this site if interested:

Google “2011 heartland bighorn 3670rl issues” and that will get you started with any known issues. Make sure you turn everything on to see it work. Make sure water is hooked up and run every water fixture.

Check JDPowers for the value of the 5th wheel. Here is a link.
