Sure, and if not you can always dismount the bar and store it beside the saw. I'd be very interested in a pole saw, ideally a 12V one with a little 4" bar that could be powered by the TT battery instead of requiring an inverter for 120V or a propreitary tool battery that won't be ready to go at the most inopportune time.
 
We have and use a Greenworks 40V pole saw. Can be disassembled into 3 pieces for easy storage. Likewise for a chain saw, we have a 40V Greenworks that uses the same battery and charger. Very satisfied with both of them.

Today a lot of handy men have switched to some battery brand of tools. I picked Ryobi could have been the Lowe's offering, Northern Tool or Harbor Freight doesn't matter. Most in that family of tools has a chain saw/pole saw. Now you only need the tool not the battery and charger.
