I am rewiring my trailer, and need all parts.

While searching on Amazon, it seems there is a lot of crap there.

Can someone point to the best manufacturer of the 7 blade trailer barrel connector. I was going to go with Curt, but read some posts about the blade contacts in the connector were weak.

Also, I am going with the Curt car side, but would like comments on that connector as well.

Thanks, Mark.

I use Curtis products exclusively for connectors and have had decent results.

I replace the 7 pin on my 2022 Airstream with a Poliak 17-114. See this post. Much better than OEM equipment.

That's one item I go to the dealership parts department for.

Specify potted connectors with a cable long enough for your job!

Major issues are on the back side of the plugs not the connector side from my experience.

Thanks all, I think I will go with the Hopkins Connector from Tractor Supply (although it is rather expensive) I like that it has both the 4 pin and 7 pin car side connectors.

As for the trailer side, I guess I will go with the same at Tractor Supply.

Thank you everyone.

Mark,
