We have been to the Grand Canyon several times both north and south rims. We love to visit the north rim far more than the south. Cape Royal is on the north rim with the Angles Window, it is breath taking. Jacob Lake Recreation Area is located just outside the Grand Canyon's North Rim. The campground is a beautiful and peaceful campground in the North Kaibab National Forest. Then about 40 miles on northwest is Kanab, Utah. Many movies especially older westerns were filmed in the Kanab area. Many episodes of Gun Smoke were filmed there, we went out to see the set once. It was referred to as Little Hollywood. Little Hollywood Museum is there. Lots to see.

recommendation to park our 40 footer at Jacobs Lake recreation and leave it for the day. It’s basically a campground. Is it safe? And any services or strictly dry camping?
