Lost a little more weight

Since switching to Lithium saved so much weight down low, I thought I'd remove some from the top also. Finally pulled the dish that we haven't used in years since we started streaming. That sucker is heavy! Now, to find out what to do with it.

I saved a little weight due to a tire shop screwing up. Last time I replaced my tires, the shop was breaking down the front ones on a filthy, muddy rug.
I noticed after they were installed, the mud had scratched the plastic coating on the aluminum wheels. Showed them to the owner and we both found out the coating can not easily or cheaply be fixed.
The owner agreed to replace the wheels at no charge. I asked if I could have the old scratched wheels to install on the inside drive axle. Don't know if everyone knows, but the inside drive wheels are steel. He agreed to install them at no charge. So now I have 8 aluminum wheels instead of six. Don't know how much weight I saved.

Using the rectangle of knowledge, a quick search seemed to show a weight savings of about 20 lbs per rim using aluminum…. YMMV.

Did you have to replaced the lug studs?

The studs were long to start. Which I was glad to see.

Well, after listing the dish on Facebook marketplace for a couple of weeks starting at 200.00 and going down to 50.00 with no bites, it went out to the curb today.
