I wasn't aware of this lubricant until I got into airplane ownership. This is some good stuff! I'm going to use this on my basement door latches and anywhere metal is on metal. All I've known in the past is your typical WD40, Silicone, T-9, etc. I suggest get some of this as it's a far better lubricant in my opinion.

LPS-2, there are also LPS-1 and LPS-3, which are far better products than WD-40. LPS products are designed to be lubricants where as WD-40 is designed to be a water displacement. I've seen many items damaged by the use of WD-40 when most folks think it is doing its job.

Lps1 is very similar to wd40
Lps2 is a penetrate and lubricant
Lps3 leaves behind a wax to inhibit rust . Also good for rubber, plastic, paint

Lots of options in their line up

Great tip. I had not heard of that brand until now. I just happen to need some of that for a water heater that I have. Thanks!

Should be available at LOWE's or Home Depot and maybe other big box stores.
