I was exercising the generator today under load as part of a monthly routine. Today the chassis was charging from 11.9 to 12.3 whereas the house was at 14.1. I have never seen this type of difference before and they typically are very close in readings. Any ideas what this might be?
I checked the battery compartment and I checked the EMS and it didn't Indicate anything wrong.

Are these both flooded lead acid? 14.1v appears very high for flooded batteries.

@JoeHogan i actually may have my terminology mixed. The house is wet cell which may be the same as flooded. The chassis is sealed.

Yes, "flooded" and "wet cell" are one and the same. And, "sealed" doesn't necessarily mean AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat), though that is are probably the most common version in automotive use.

In all likelihood, you have "flooded" or "wet cell" chassis batteries and AGM house batteries. If that's the case, you will see different voltages.

It just depends what state your charger is in as indicated on the Magnum panel. Voltages are different from Bulk, Absorb, and Float.
