I just sold my old 96 Fleetwood and bought a barely used 2008 Newmar Country Star Model 3303. This model has a queen bed (80x60) in the rear. There is a slider in the bedroom that pushes the end of the mattress under a set of cupboards. The existing mattress is old and needs replacement. It is 7" thick. I ordered a new 8" standard sized foam mattress from JUNO. The new mattress has not been delivered yet. Can any other model 3303 owners let me know if an 8" thick mettress will be a problem?

How mush room do you have between the 7” mattress and the cabinet now? If it’s 1 inch or more your fine.

I have a 3205 and bought a 10" RV Queen (60 x 74) and it fits just fine. Unless you are taller than 6 feet I would order the RV queen and avoid any issues with height. Just my humble opinion. Blessings

***Let me add...I cut down the platform 5 inches as well so the walk-around is easier 😊 I'm 5'10 and my wife is even shorter so we fit fine on this platform.

In ours was a full size king with metal frame. Ours went under the cabinets as well. We changed ours out to a full size queen, but I made my frame to be able to store things and made it low enough to put a 14” thick matress.
Also put servos in to raise and lower the head of the matress. My mom was the test subject. 😁
