Normally plastic zip ties are fine, but in an area that might demand a more robust fastener tie I’ve found that metal zip ties are preferable. A friend, ATT long line tech, who introduced me to metal zip ties back in the flying days. Granted Amazon items are not the same quality as commercial utility grade metal ties but closer than plastic.

Agreed. While I haven’t used any on our TT (yet), they have proven durable & long-lasting on our Jeep. (y)
