What is the most common problem for the air horn not to work?

I was going to be a wise guy and say “lack of air,” but I won’t. Oops…already did.

Now that we got that out of the way, most air horn failures I’ve seen were electrical issues; bad connections to the air valve or a failed relay or valve. If they are, indeed, genuine air-powered horns, then a plugged or broken like could actually be the problem. Finally, the switch that activates the horns could be bad.

Good luck in finding the issue. A good set of air horns is an essential driving tool in my book. ;)

Dang it you beat me to it! I was going to say your not blowing hard enough!!

I would follow the advice from the above post,
Question; do you have exhaust brake assist on your coach?
If so it has to be the air valve. I put an electric air valve on my coach, I have the air operated exhaust brake,
Really helpful on steep down hill grades.
