Hello...brand new to this forum...looking to purchase a 2025 Verona 36vsb and notice that it has a small king bed now...my wife and I travel with 2 golden retrievers and really are second guessing our decision based on the small size of this bed...looking for feedback from owners that already own rigs with this mini king bed...thanks

We don’t have a king but a residential size queen with 2 labs.
Our dogs are allowed on the bed for 20-30 minutes, then have to stay on the floor for the duration of the night as there just isn’t enough room.

Thanks for your reply. Our dogs do sleep in their crates at night, but they love to lay on the bed with us when we take naps...the mini king in the 2025 Verona is 66w x 74l...I'm 6ft tall so that means my feet would hang off the end...not ideal, not sure what they were thinking on this mini king bed

I am not a fan of the shorter length beds. Personally would rather have a residential queen than a short king.
If you aren’t sure how well it will work for you - try a normal king and place appropriate sized boxes at the head of the bed that simulate the bed at the shorter 74” length.

For me, being a little under 6’, that lack of 6” would drive me a bit nuts.

Does anyone know if there is anyway to retro fit the bedroom to accommodate a standard rv king mattress of 72 x 80, with out spending an arm and a leg?
