2017 FR Georgetown, Dometic fridge (can’t remember model #, but will get it if that’s important).
This dang refrigerator is possessed!
When we got the RV in 2021, I thought that the fridge was not cool enough, changed the thermistor with a new bad one. RV shop changed it again and it worked, 35 degree fridge temp.
Went camping, fridge is around 45-50 degrees again.
There are 2 of us camping and we do not leave the door open any longer than absolutely necessary.
Next trip, I allowed it to cool down for a full 48 hours, 35 degrees. By the end of the trip, it’s at 50.
Now we’re moving and using the RV to move all the home fridge stuff. RV fridge on electric for over 2 days, it was at 45 degrees when I opened the door for the first time.
The freezer is at -5 degrees.

I’m so *^&%# mad.
How in the Hell is anyone supposed to troubleshoot this?!
I’m ready to put in a residential fridge.

On our old class c I added two computer fans on the air intake vent for the fridge.

Plugged them in when we turned the fridge on and unplugged when off.

The extra air flow helped quite a bit with efficiency of the refrigerator.

They pulled from the outside and caused additional air to flow across the coils and up the vent on the roof.
