We have never had one and are looking for some help or recommendations about systems. Thanks in advance

Welcome to RVforums. Starlink is an in-motion system you may want to look at.

Welcome. I agree Star Link mini is the way to go. We have the mini but have not used in motion yet. Several members are very knowledgeable on SL.

I've seen this but haven't used it. Have you?
Yes we have it and use it whenever we are out in our coach. It works quite well. We used to use the hotspot on our phone but switched this year to Starlink for better coverage in remote places. It has not let us down.

That's great to hear. We homeschool so coverage is important.

You mention in-motion, but also homeschool (probably a parked activity frequently). Starlink with a roam package will operate in motion. Service will vary and while it is typically good, it can be marginal to poor occasionally. For in motion you will need for the dish to be at least semi permanently mounted (very strong magnets). If you park in the trees, you will need to be able to detach so you can remote mount the dish out from under the trees.
