I ran into a situation that is new for me. I picked up our coach from storage where it had been for a couple of weeks and ran the engine for 10-15 minutes before leaving the lot. For the next 10-15 minutes every time I hit the accelerator the engine would “cough” and be unable to accelerate. I was about to turn around and head back to have the coach looked at by the service team when the engine smoothed out and accelerated just fine. Any ideas what this might have been and what I should check out? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Did you see any check engine lights, emissions lights, or check for any trouble codes? If not it would still be a good idea to see if there are any codes stored. If you don’t have a code reader you can use the LBCU.

Here’s the book on the LBCU: https://www.rvtechlibrary.com/electronics/lbcu_owners.pdf Page 2.32
