Narrowly escaped snowstorm on mountain pass.

I posted a thread a few days ago when we were dithering about whether to leave the mountain town where we were because some stiff winds were forecast for the high passes we had to cross to leave. We use DriveWeather and WeatherBug. Well, we bit the bullet and left a day earlier than planned. We did encounter the stiff winds later, but we were safely parked down in a valley 2-3 hours away. The first photo is one I took during our trip over the passes. The second photo is the same road, 2 days later.

I really liked the scenery in the first picture....not so much for the second.
