Bummer, postponed until Saturday. I'm such a fan of space travel, exploration, etc. I was really looking forward to watching the first SpaceX endeavor start transporting our astronauts instead of us hitching a ride with the soviets (i.e. paying Russia millions).

Saturday we'll be at the Walnut Hollow RV park and we'll catch the action with the aid or our new "Tailgater". That'll be cool too!

Try 2: 3:22 PM Eastern today (May 30)

I just walk out of the front door and see them rockets go?... But they shake the house . The locals have cordoned all available parking spaces at the waterfront and they get $20 a pop. WX looks crappy this afternoon?

Congrats Space X. I admit I was nervous! Whew!!

Spectacular! And yes, I was nervous as well. From the way the astronauts were flexing their fingers during the last minute of the countdown, I would say they were pretty nervous too!

I noticed that too. My guess is arms falling asleep due to blood flow at that angle. I would have had to go to the bathroom! Hold the launch for a minute :)

You can't imagine just how true that would be for me...at my age. :ROFLMAO:

Pretty cool launch. Best wishes for those guys!
