We decided to knock one off our list last minute, so the wife and I loaded up and left for Nashville. Just under 500 miles from Pittsburgh and about 9 hours of driving. Longest trip I’ve taken the truck and camper yet, both performed extremely well.

The place we’re at is one of three campgrounds just outside Nashville, including an expensive KOA. Rates here are $65 a night for 30 amp full hookup, which between gas and overnights is overall way cheaper than airfare and hotels.

The place is advertised as more of a staging area to see the rest of the city and is within a shuttle service that’ll ferry people from downtown. Great place to go to see Nashville, just I would choose somewhere further away from the city if I was planning on staying in the campsite.
