Hello eveyone.

I'm planning a trip through North Carolina and I'm looking for recommendations on RV parks that are clean, safe, and well located. Has anyone stayed at RV parks in areas like Asheville, Outer Banks, or the Smoky Mountain region?

I'm especially interested in places with good hookups, reliable WiFi, and scenic surroundings. How was your experience with amenities, pricing, and overall atmosphere?

Also, are there any hidden gems that are less crowded but still convenient for exploring nearby attractions?

Any tips on seasonal availability, reservation requirements, or pet friendly options would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance for any help

Near Asheville we have stayed at Mama Gertie’s and at campfire. Both have great views, nice people who run the camps. Sorry I don’t remember about wifi

Campfire Lodgings near Asheville.

Road up is interesting and don’t arrive early - make sure to call before you start up the road 😊. Not a bad road just not room for two.

We watched a thunderstorm below us in the valley from a picnic table when there.

Well worth the trip.

By my last count, we have been to Camp Hatteras in the OBX 18 times. Headed there again in May. It’s located in Waves/Rodanthe on the National Seashore. Unspoiled beaches and a great place to clear out headspace.
