Hello. My husband and I are brand new to the RV life. We recently purchased a 1995 Sea Breeze M-129. We want to buy new batteries for it but are confused. Here is a photo of what the previous owner had.
In case you don't have one, here's the manual for the Sea Breeze units produced in 1995. Chapter 5 covers the electrical system, including the basics of the batteries, but it is short on some of the specifics you may be confused about.
What specific questions do you have about replacing the batteries? I agree they don't look too good, and the one date I can see suggests they may have passed their useful life, but are there other symptoms in operation that you're trying to solve with new batteries?
Welcome, and you'll get good info here. Best of luck with your RV and enjoying it!
Welcome to RVforums. I switched our batteries to AGMs to eliminate the wet cell and cut some weight. No matter what type you go with make sure your charging system has EGM/ Lithium capabilities. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
