Most of us already have this installed. Its the first thing I installed on a new coach.

Progressive EMS HW50C will disconnect power if the ground is not present. It qualifies as a GMI.

The SurgeGuard 40350-RVC transfer switch, which many of us have, checks for a loss of ground and will not allow power to pass if there is not an adequate ground. I wonder if this qualifies as a GMI?

I would say yes. I bet that is what Newmar installs on all models for 2026
