Full-time boater for almost 30 years until a major heart attack. The doctor said no boats, but an RV is OK. So for about 10 years now, the wife and I have been traveling around the country. We are home-based out of Manning, South Carolina. Chuck and Susan

Welcome aboard!! So, is your doctor familiar with RVing?? Kidding. It is a great way to relax as long as you have a good attitude. We have been full time for more than eight years now and wouldn't trade it for any other lifestyle.

Safe travels!

Welcome @chuckbear - glad to see you RVing. Having had a boat, I think RVing is better :)

Thanks, all. After coming from the boating community and sticking my toe in a few other RV forums, I hope to find a more helpful and friendly group here than I have experienced in some other RV forums. I might not be "new" to RVing, but I am in a new-to-me RV that I will need some help with. Chuck

I think you will find this a pretty friendly place. The moderator is pretty good at keeping things light. I'm like you. Been RVing practically my entire life but I still learn a think or two here. This is a pretty knowledgeable group.

No shortage of folks willing to help here!
There is an amazing shortage of blowhards and know it all's though....and moderation is very well managed, so it sure doesn't feel like the other RV forums. ;)
