Received an email from Hughes today. Appears they have incorporated boosting into the Watchdog platform now. Looks interesting.

Have to check specs, would it even fit where my AF is installed next to my cord reel? Seems hefty.

Yeah is bigger and the price went up but I believe that is for the battery to raise voltage if needed etc.

Looks like it can be mounted outside same as the watchdog we have now.

Combined the autoformer and the watchdog in one unit. Could have used it at the current park . Voltage on line one drops low enough to trip the watchdog and comes back a minute later - this should correct that issue at least.

Have to decide if it is worth the expense though…

I fried my first autoformer from it swimming in a puddle after a big rain, so be careful.

It may be pricey, but they did combine a $300 item with a $700 item…. It’s looks slick…but I will have to wait until my autoformer dies…

No batteries in the autoformer portion---its all about amps / ohms/ volts.

being one unit simplifies install. Waiting for them to release the 50amp version to see the final pricing.

Initial pricing for the 50 amp is listed - $1,199.99.

Definitely have to watch being outside. No plan to buy it for now since our current Watchdog is working just fine. The low voltage we’ve seen here it shuts off power and sends me an alert. Minute later we are back on shore power.
