To get my wife off the "New Motorhome" trail and having to spend $250,000 more to get a brand new RV similar to what we have, I agreed to have Classic Coach Works in Ormond Beach Florida renovate our 2006 Holiday Rambler Ambassador. We spent a total of about $15,000 for everything including new luxury vinyl tile floors throughout, repairing minor water damage to the subfloor by the drivers window area, putting tile on the entry steps and walls, new dye on the dash, A pillars and door panels to look like new again, rebuild both captains chairs with closed cell foam and matching ultra-leather, installing locks on the flat screen TV's I installed, installing door locks on the new residential 'fridge I installed, new magic fan motor installed in the bathroom, found the short in the reading lights in the bedroom, got our front door to operate better, got our stair well step cover to operate better and covered in new carpet. Knowing how much a new coach was going to cost made the $15k a LOT easier to spend!!! I have to say, the coach looks like a new one and I couldn't be happier with the work. Here's a few before and after pics of the stair well entry area. I think this was one of the best upgrades we did. I'll post some more pics later. This cost $715 extra to do the stairs in addition to the cost of the floor.

Looks great

Here are a few more before and after pics. The old off white carpet was looking pretty rough!!! And the cheap stick on wood flooring was starting to peel up around the edges. This change is pretty dramatic in person. The coach looks and smells like a new one. The camera doesn't exactly show the colors correctly. The tile floor is a taupe (grey/brown) color and the carpet matches. In the pics the carpet looks beige for some reason. The matching ultra leather on the captains chairs is in the same color family as the floors just not quite as dark. I was afraid if I made everything the same color as the tile it would look too dark in the RV.

Wowzer dowzer EZ! That's REALLY nice! I think you got a pretty good deal bud. ?

BTW, there's several of us will be happy to help you pull the top off that Gentleman Jack! :) Just sayin. . .

Money very well spent I’d say, your coach looks fantastic with the upgrades. Can you tell us more about the flooring you used? What do you think the labor was for that? Are Vantana LE has a vinyl flooring that’s getting dinged up pretty quick, in the next year or so would like to move to a better flooring productIf I can find someone to do it reasonably.

Looking good
