Good afternoon all,

I want to say hello to the group. I have been a member of several RV discussion boards over the years and part of Admin for one forum that is dedicated to the old Travco Motorhomes. My wife and I just purchased a 2021 Newmar Baystar Sport 2813 that we will use for camping for now and full time in about 5 years when we retire. It is replacing an old family Member, Nessie, our 1976 Travco Mahal 2+2 that we have been using for the last 10 years. It will be going to our son and he will get to enjoy the fun of travelling in a vintage Class A. I stumbled into this forum while searching for info on the Newmar.

Great intro, great pics. Great to have you with us. Hope you enjoy the site and we look forward to your participation as part of the RVF community.

Welcome to RVF and Congratulations on the purchase of your Bay Star Sport. We look forward to hearing about your adventures!

Thanks for the welcomes. It looks like I have a Baby Newmar at just under 29'. We plan to stay at some National parks and a lot of those have 30' limits. We learned a lot with the Travco with loading and keeping the weight down. The first trip is a quick weekender to a local state park and we will see what we use and what we don't. Have reservations made for a state park in Tennessee outside of Chattanooga in October. Other trips are yet to be planned.
