New Member. Lot of interesting posts. I have a Norcold 8cu. ft (NA8LX). Like most Norcold refrigerators, they last about 3 - 4 years and after 4yrs. mine cools minimally. Looking to replace. I have heard that 12V refrigerators really eat your batteries (though I keep mine plugged in via my storage place). Any recommendations for a residential refrigerator type fridge? My current fridge is about 60 x 24 1/2. Assuming I won't get any recommendations for a 3way fridge like the current Norcold I have Appreciate any feedback.

Welcome! Great to have you with us. I'm sure someone will have some answers for you soon.

I replaced my residential with a Frigidaire 10.1 cu residential and it's been great for four years. I paid high $500's I notice now their running $700.

As a mobile tech I have replaced several including my own. I went residential. The real trick is to find one that requires minimal modification's to the opening. Other then getting mine locked into place, most have been quite easy. I would have it examined for why it has "faded" as this is not typical. They cool or they do not, with issues usually arising in hot weather. Search for the actual dimensions by your model number and the RO of the hole will be slightly bigger then that, then go online and shop refrigerators by size.
