Hi everyone
We just purchased our first motorhome. We had Heartland Bighorn fifth wheel for 15 years. We had to sell it along with my Chevy 3500 dually due health reasons. We did not want to give up camping we really enjoy it. It is also best way to travel with our dog and. Cat

Welcome aboard! Glad to hear you are still able to RV. A motorhome is a lot easier to "set up" than a towed and It only takes us a minute to unhook our Jeep and another to hook it back up. A lot less labor intensive for sure.

Thanks Rollin. What Jeep do you tow. We are going to look for a Jeep to flat tow
We have a 22 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that we tow behind ours.

Easy to tow and easy to get in and out of compared to the car we used to tow.

We tow a 2018 Jeep Wrangler 2 door. We use a Blue Ox tow bar and a Brake Buddy. There are plenty of vehicles that are " flat towable". Blue ox provides a fairly complete list but it is always best to check the vehicles Owner's Manual to confirm. Best Cars to Flat Tow Behind an RV | Blue Ox

During your travels, I think you will find that Jeeps (Wranglers in particular) are the most popular. They are very easy to set up for towing and are pretty versatile to use once the RV is parked. The JK and JL models are pretty comfortable to drive compared to earlier models. I call our JK "a car in Jeep's clothing" as they have all the creature comforts you may want. We have owned 4 jeeps. We had a CJ, XJ and a TJ. By far, in my opinion these three were more utilitarian but the JK is very capable off road as well.

Blue Ox is a popular tow bar but there are others as well. You can purchase a towing wiring harness as well as base plates and install them yourself if you are a handy kind of guy. Same as the braking system.

During our travels, we often visit "out of the way" places such as ghost towns, abandoned mines etc so the 4X4 high clearance is a bonus.

Safe travels.
