Hi folks. I'm a new member from BC, Canada. Our RV is a 1997 Ford E350 Minnie Winnie. It's a V10 and 29' long. We've had it for three years and we've done some interior renos. We've had an ongoing problem with the batteries, though, and can't seem to find the problem. We boondock mostly and use very little power. The only thing we need is the water pump and the fridge running on propane. We expect the batteries to last several days with the draw we ask from them but they die after a few hours. This is the third set of new batteries in as many years. We've had the RV guys look at it and a mobile tech guy and no one can identify the drain. The water pump is brand new. The fridge is supposed to be new before we owned it and it works well...until it dies from low DC power. I've traced every possible system and tracked every possible usage and can't, for the life of me, figure this out. The only things I can think of is that the batteries suck even new and I need better ones or the fridge is somehow drawing way more power for some reason. I don't have an inverter and the fridge is dual AC/gas with no door heater. Has anyone got any ideas?

Welcome aboard. I am sorry you are having electrical difficulties. Clearly, they can be frustrating. Have you tried pulling fuses to try and identify where the drain lies?
