Hello.
We are new to this forum.
Looking to figure out if there is a toy hauler trailer that can be pulled by my Chevy Colorado 6cyl.
the manufacturer specs say I can pull up to 7,000 pounds. Is there a toy hauler with at least an 8’ garage that falls into 5,000 lbs.? My razor weighs 1500 lbs.

thank you for any advice you may offer.

Cindy

Hello @DoxieMom03 - great to have you with us on RVForums.com.

Welcome to RVF, @DoxieMom03. Glad you found your way here.

While you may find a toy hauler in the 5,000-pound range, pulling the combined 6,500-pound load (with Razor aboard) will probably make for some pretty slow going in the mountains. Now, if your travels will be in the flatlands, you may be able to do it.

Good luck.

TJ

Welcome! Good luck with your search...I really think you’re gonna wish for a more powerful truck, though...

Welcome to the forum. I have the Colorado and although I haven’t towed a toy hauler I have toed a boat/trailer weighing approximately 4000#. It managed but was no rocket ship from a stop, this was primarily in the southeast which is relatively flat. Enjoy the forum.
