I found a great deal on a pair of electrified captain’s chairs that not only look good, they don’t need reupholstering and are very comfy!! (Added padded carpeting too)
As my Thor Axis chairs were peeling, they needed total reupholstering. Even having to buy 2 new 3" seat pedestals, I almost broke even.
Very happy!

(Old Axis chairs are listed as free in classified if anyone wants them)

Now, it's time for a road trip!

Further update if interested.
In the continuing saga of horrible Thor vinyl upholstery, I have finally finished my miserable flaking vinyl delete!
Due to all my water & plumbing under the jack knife sofa, I could not install recliners or a normal couch. (Axis 25.2)
Other than over paying Thor for a duplicate POS, or having the entire unit reupholstered, I found a suitable replacement from RecPro.
The Thor sofa was 76" and this one is 70"; not that bad of a difference.
I did have to cut the armrest back to accommodate the plumbing, but not too hard.
Here are before, during, and after pics.
