New to Camping and looking 4 a Camper

Hello, I will be reading and trying to figure out what I want and need to go camping , Looking for a Bumper pull up to 36 ft preferably.
I see lot of RV folks say to stay away from the covid campers, also I generally try to buy USA made products.

Welcome aboard. I'm pretty sure you will find folks here are pretty friendly and helpful.

If I may suggest what I feel may help you.

First, no matter what you decide on, have the unit professionally inspected even if it was built pre or post COVID. You may find your "ideal rig" being built during the COVID rush but the previous owner may have corrected and repaired many of the defects. Having it inspected will show if any faults exist.

The important thig to look for is Floor Plan. Be sure the unit fits your needs and that you will be comfortable in it. Make sure your tow vehicle is able to properly handle the trailer.

I'm sure others will help you with further suggestions.

Welcome! I will say 36’ will require a very solid tow vehicle and I will say, truck. Do some good research on this before your purchase.

Isn’t 36’ pretty long for a bumper pull? Being a newbie, I’m not going to advise, only say what led us to our decision, and maybe that will factor in for you, too.

Decisions are specific to details like # of people, truck you have, or can buy, intended use, budget, details of the unit, etc.

We researched RV’s for almost a year, then went to an RV show to physically look at the models before settling on ours. One of the many factors for us was the numerous testimonials about Grand Desisn customer service. Probably the biggest thing was a propane fridge, which restricted our search to a used model.
