Are you prepared with a good solid pickup to tow it? There's a lot to know about towing your home, and the vehicle you choose to do that with. Certain sizes of 5th wheel require certain add-ons for your truck, but all require a 5th wheel hitch.
There's also a lot involved with maintenance and upkeep. There are many parts and functions that require regular, sometimes daily, inspection and care.
We had a 5th wheel for years and we did full-time it. Then we settled in one area and bought a house to work until full retirement. We're almost there now, and we just purchased a Class A diesel to get us through the next decade or so until we can't drive properly any more.
Just be sure you're ready and prepared to do the not-so-fun parts of fulltime RV'ing, with the special requirements of towing your home, and the fun parts will be all the more enjoyable!
Good luck to you!
