Congrats and welcome!

New to us. We retired our 2011 Winnebago after 14 years of great service. We now have a 2019 Jayco Precept 31 UL. Looking forward to continue our full time travels in our newer coach.

Darrell, Jerry and Bella

Welcome to RVforums from Ely Iowa. Nice rig. I liked your old one as well.

Thank you for the warm welcome. We have had Nessie the 76 Travco for over 10 years now. We were planning on an interior remodel to make it more comfortable but she was small and limited on storage, I had to duck under the AC units and could not stand up in the shower. Being 6'6" tall can be a pain at times. The Newmar, although only 2 feet longer has a lot more storage and I can stand up everywhere inside. The 2 slides make the interior space so much larger. The 76 had a GVW of 14500 lbs with a 10,000 lbs trailering ability with a GVCW of 25000 lbs. The New is 20.500 lbs GVW with a 5000 lb towing capacity and a GVCW of 26,000 lbs. We plan to full time when we retire in a few years and the extra space was needed. Our original plan was to use the 76 with an enclosed trailer for the car and storage. The new plan is to keep the dolly for the car as we have more internal storage. Let me just say the king bed is so much more comfortable than the side ways full in the back of the Travco. Next camping trip is this coming weekend. bringing the canoe and e-bikes with us this trip.
