Welcome aboard! Extra space.......some folks never have enough. Some folks get along just fine being minimalists. How much storage space will you need. Here is a bit of a test. Pile all of the stuff you think you MUST HAVE on the floor. You can judge a little by that by measuring the pile.. Then let me say that floor plan is very important. Which one will you be most comfortable in?

Just an FYI: We used a 28 foot Class A for 7 years full timing. We now have a 33 foot with a nicer floor plan but a bit less USABLE storage but are more comfortable with the floor plan.

Good luck and safe travels.

Welcome. Driving wise you will not note a difference. As stated go with the floorplan you like just do not be put off by length. The extra storage always helps and there is the comfort factor.

Retired. Getting back into camping. Just the 2 of us. Entegra 27u or 29v. Trying to decide. Is the extra 3 feet noticeable? Is worth it for the added storage space?
Keep in mind, other than perhaps the swiveling captain's seats the cockpit area in a MH is deadspace ( a magnifying glass in summer as well) when it's parked. So you're really talking about 23 or 24' as opposed to 26 or 27' of living and storage area.
