Hello everyone! My wife and I are long time tent campers, backpackers, bikepackers looking to purchase a small camper soon. For the past few years we've been frustrated by how crowded campgrounds have become and pre COVID were considering a camper to give us "facilities" on NF and BLM and State forest lands. COVID interrupted that notion but now we are back on the hunt for a small camper. Are fiberglass worth the expense in terms of less leak and exterior repair potential? Is Do 2 axle trailers' advantages out weigh their expense over single axle? We have a 1/2 ton suburban and were looking at 3000-4000 lb ~20' Jayco, Winnie, or perhaps escape (19 or 21). Any thoughts? Thanks!
