Hello ! I am new here and new in the RV world
We bought a used 2012 Ford Nexus Phantom

And we live on a hill the RV is currently parked next to our curb for the time being while we are going in and out a bit doing things.

when we originally listened to the generator, which was two times from the seller. It sounded smooth and no problems.

The night that we brought it home, we turned on our air conditioner with a generator, and it started out fine but then after a while it started surging we turned it off and then turned it back on a little while later and it did the same thing we decided to try a different appliance and we tried my conventional oven that it came with at the time we aware that the oven may or may not work. While the oven turned on for a little bit, and then it turned off and blew something out in the circuit breaker tripped.

We were told that it sat for long periods of time and another form had told us to poor seafoam in the gas
We bought a Cummins Onan Generator Maintenance Kit for KY Gasoline and inserted the filter. Yesterday we were told to wait overnight to try the generator again.

*** Here is my question
Could being on the hill and having a quarter of a tank cause the generator to surge ?
And any thoughts on this issues are greatly appreciated
Thank you

My onan has surged since new. As long as my voltage/amperage is stable I don't worry about it. Higher elevations make it more noticeable.

Your generator pickup tube is at the 1/4 tank level. Add fuel and try again.
