Hello everyone. We are Mystic Mates, retired in SC for the past ten years, about to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We are Mystic Mates as we met when my wife moved across the street from me at age ten. I was twelve and we were inseparable our entire life. Our street was "Mystic Dr". She is a retire teacher of 35 years to first graders. I spent my career managing customer services at electric, gas and water utility companies. We've spent the past ten years retired, and decided (loooong story) to have a gig business making decorative pillows (MysticMates.com). Our pillows almost made it to Camping World, but COVID got in the way (another long story). We once did our camping on a houseboat at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky, and that was a fun chapter of our life. Now we are exploring an urge to get into RVing. For now, I just want to hang out and see what I can see, read, and contribute.

Thank you! We've been going through the forum to pick up any wisdom and experiences we can as we decide what direction to go. We have friends that bought a huge trailer with a couple of slide outs and they were a problem. One of them so much, that they lost an entire summer season waiting for repairs. Then, there was damage inside (long stories). Point is, as a newbie, this makes us a little. gun shy on choices.
