Newmar as a publicly traded company, how is it affecting them?

Do more with less. The corporate greed machine. Couple that with many wanting to "retire" in their 20's or 30's (read: stay at home and not have to work) shorting the workforce and forcing companies to hire un qualified workers if they can find any at all.
 
I had a recent chat with Brett D about what his numbers were showing, and Newmar quality has improved over the last year. I believe what your postulate and also some of the steps taken once they were shown independent performance data are contributing. As data becomes more transparent around warranty claims and resolution performance, things could get even more interesting.
I for one do not feel Newmar has increased it's quality. Companies that are traded must answer to it's CEO who must answer to shareholders. Profit must be there and expectations must be exceeded when these companies do their public reporting or else the CEO may be terminated. Something has to give and that is quality!
