I wanted to share an update with the Newmar community, and I do so with genuine sadness.

I was just informed that Joe Gentry's last day at Newmar will be February 2nd. Many of you will remember him as the longtime head of the parts store. His move out of that role last year was unexpected and significant, and this news feels like the closing of a chapter that meant a great deal to many of us.

For those who had the opportunity to work with him, he was consistently knowledgable, kind and truly invested in helping owners. People like him become trusted resources, and their absence is felt long after they're gone.

I wanted others here to be aware, as I know many relied on him over the years. I wish him nothing but the very best in what comes next and thank him sincerely for everything he's done for this community.

That is terrible news! Joe was the face of Newmar that so many of us knew and helped us keep afloat after delivery. Always kind and helpful but always super responsive with the information we needed. I cannot think of anyone at Newmar that reflected higher customer service than what Joe demonstrated time after time.

Joe, if you ever see this on the Internet, we will miss your presence at Newmar and we all thank you for your kindness and service to us, the most important part of Newmar, the customers. I hope as this door closed a much better door opens for you and your future.

Do we think he retired?
