About 12 years ago a group of about 12 or 13 guys on another RV web site were discussing their planned purchases of new Newmar coaches. They dove deep into all the options and accessories that they would add as specials into their respective coaches. Along the way, someone suggested "Wouldn't it be a Hoot" if we all got together at a campground with our coaches? And that's how the Hoots got started.

The Hoots have been gathering every year since then. We're going to have another rally this fall Sept 15th - 22nd in Washington Utah.

You can get all the history of Hoots on our web page: Newmar Hoots. Click on the Hoots 2024 banner at the top of the page to get all the RV Rally details and register for the rally.

If you want to learn more about your coach, get ideas from others on how to live better with your coach and meet a lot of great people, you'll enjoy this rally.

I'm alone with two others. It appears by checking the website there are opening as registration button is still showing/available.

If you haven't been to a Hoots rally before its really a lot of fun. We're an entirely volunteer organized group... One highlight of the week is what we call our Progressive Happy Hour / Coach Stroll. We split up the campground into a few sections. Each section gets to host a Progressive Happy Hour treat such as an adult-beverage, snack, appetizer, or treat. If you wish, you can open your coach and give tours to people. Perhaps you've done some fun customization or come up with a unique way to organize your coach. Then as a group we move on to the next section and repeat. Its a ton of fun, you meet lots of folks, you learn more about cool features in other folks coaches and maybe you get a little tipsy.

Last year we had some Newmar executives attend our Hoots rally and this year they're coming back. If you've done any customization to your coach they would love to see it.

Yes there are still spots available. If you click through to the registration form itself it tells you how many spots are still available. We would love to see everyone there if you can make it. The rally always sells out, some years faster than others so it's hard to predict how long registration will remain open.

Hoots is an awesome outing, and one you won't forget any time soon. We have been to the last six but, sadly, will miss this year. If you're new to your Newmar, it's one of the best ways to learn your coach. Lots of helpful people and interesting sessions where fellow owners share information about how they have fixed problems and improved their coaches...a lot like this forum, but with faces and voices!

I am interested in HOOTS rally. Trying to work out calendar with the International Rally and Balloon Festival. Busy 2024 summer.
