Looks like Newmar is renting spaces in their campground now at the service center? I think a better move would simply be invite owners to stay at no cost on a space available basis. Interesting...

Not that great a deal since it is electric only….in a very cold part of the country….

It states that it's complementary if you're there for service or repairs.
Seems fair to me.

I wonder how many people travel through that part of the country during the winter months? Not this guy.

Some will jump at the chance to stay at "the mouther ship" but I probably won't be one of them. $45.00 is not that bad now days but I hope they have a heated dump station and a place to take on water.

I’ll pass.
Maybe if you’ve never been to the factory it might be worth a stop. I bet Newmar will actually generate some service business doing this. Might even end up with some people deciding to buy a new coach after checking out the facilities.

I will pass on this generous offer.

and then give a good discount on anything purchased in the parts department while staying

Ah! Now we talk motivation. Think it's about slumping profit margins?

I’m guessing that the occasional $45/night won’t have a noticeable impact on the balance sheet. Most likely this is an answer to customer’s request for a place to stay during uncrowded times.

Any good business will leverage their assets for maximum return. I'm sure they do this more as a courtesy, albeit a nominal fee, for their customers than it is to increase profits.

I can see it as a good idea to get non Newmar owners there and see how nice the service center is. Make it free for current Newmar owners, small fee for everyone else. Not that any of this matters, it's trivial, $45 is cheap for an overnight and heck, if you break down you're in the right place as happened to me the last service visit when my FWS controller failed while there! Lucky!

Just interesting to see this, that's all, not good or bad.

Access to the lobby and facilities makes this a viable option. The dump station at the site should be available but shut off. Interesting idea to maximize facility use.

Since its "exclusively" for Newmar owners runs until the end of March and only applies to owners not getting service work, the question is how many of us are traveling in an area that is prone to very low temperatures and white stuff? Not me!

They already give you 20% off in the parts dept or at least they did when I was there a few years ago.
