Just lately I have not been able to start generator and get A/C power. Didn't work last weekend camping. I DID work for a test two days ago. Now failure again. I'm just looking to see what it might be. I read somewhere the Automatic Transfer Switch prevents the generator from connecting unstable power. So where is my problem? Is the transfer switch at fault. Or is the generator providing bad power. Or, did I not wait long enough for the generator to warm up and then connect. How long should I wait? I don't know where I might connect a volt/ohm meter somewhere that would begin to give me a clue. Has anyone else experienced this?

I replaced the circuit board on the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). All seems okay now. Cost = $25Similar threads
