This is what the SF Bay Area is like today. The air quality is flagged as red. Those in NorCal be safe.

Sad to see, @sheridany. LadyDi and I grew up in that area (St. Helena) and know the fire-affected area very well. While we do remember some fires over the years and I was a wildlands firefighter in that area with what was then the California Division of Forestry (now CalFire), we don't recall anything of the magnitude we are now seeing. Our prayers go out to all in the affected area.

Received an evacuation warning this morning. Good thing we were packed and ready to go to Montana in the DS. Hope the home is here when we return. Serious smoke all the way to Nevada, gasp!
