Thank you so much Kevin.
I can find only one thermostat on pdf. Link in previous reply) On Page 6 & 7. Item #6 - Thermostat # 636495, which an RV Parts company told me to buy. This t-stat seems to correspond with the electric side (see attached pic (and pdf) where this t-stat is second from left where the dash board shows the electric "plug" symbol,
Item #20 - thermocouple extension seems to be associated with the GAS side. Is this the gas "T-stat" you are referring to? OR where would the gas T-stat you are referring to be located?

There may be no thermostat on this unit. Notice the legend on the brow. It indicates variable flame settings. Low when turned counterclockwise, high when turned clockwise. This is the valve knob on the right of the brow.

There is not a thermocouple, that is a gas pressure tube you are looking at.

Ok, now I'm pretty confused. So your guidance is most appreciated!!!
You mentioned earlier- "So there are two thermostats. One for electric and one for LP. The thermostat has the small tube that goes into the ice box. According to the diagrams it's located on the top just behind the brow. The tubes gas actuates the needle valve via the diaphragm." AND "Your solenoid may have a blockage."

1. So there is NO LP thermostat (only electric)?
2. I should return the electric thermostat I bought?
3. What next - clean the burner orifice again?
4. solenoid - where is that located? Do I clean it or replace it?
5. any other suggestions?
