Actually not today, got back last night The main purpose of the trip was to cross Route 66 off my bucket list. it was a big disappointment for me. I expected it to be a bit more rustic, but at least I can say Ive been there.

Yeah, you are several years too late for that. Most communities in OK have moved past embracing the heritage of highway 66. Way too little tourist traffic to spend limited tax and investment $, for very little return.
